ALL THE GOODS I STOCK IN MY KITCHEN
Creating this page for you was a bit daunting so I'm going to go about it a bit differently than the rest of the "shop with me" pages.
We are talking in lists here.
Then, at the end, I will link any items that I purchase online form Thrive or Amazon.
I currently grocery shop at quite a few locations. My regulars are listed below with what I like to buy at each location.
I prefer to buy my produce organic if I can, but I don't avoid buying conventional if that is what is available. I just give it a good wash in a water bath with some baking soda and Dr. Bronners pure castile soap.
What I buy where:
Natural Grocers - nuts, produce, meats and cheeses. Specialty items like Culina coconut yogurt and Kite Hill ricotta. Pasta sauces and canned foods like lentils, coconut milk and tomatoes. Dried beans, oats, flour, coconut sugar, salsa, nutritional yeast, chocolate and curry paste.
Thrive Market - baking soda and powder, quinoa, rice and dried beans. Nuts, nut butters, seeds, flax meal, oils and flours. All my cleaning supplies and some personal care items.
Amazon - tahini, sea salt, maca powder, supplements and some personal care items.
Local co-op & bakery - produce (this is where the bulk of my produce comes from), fish, tortillas and crackers, sourdough bread and tortilla chips.
Trader Joe's - frozen fruit (they have the best blueberries, mango and raspberries), chocolate, noodles, dried fruits, produce (especially apples and oranges), nuts and seeds, applesauce (if you haven't tried it, do so), coconut milk, canned beans, coconut aminos, vinegars, maple syrup and San Marzano tomatoes.
Aldi - dates, papaya, mango and potato chips (Clancy's plain wavy are the best!).
Walmart - frozen organic strawberries, Crazy Richards peanut butter, Traditional Medicinal teas, larabars.
Below is a list of the most common things taking up space in my home. Keep in mind, it varies depending on the season. Sometimes I have melons, brussels sprouts, asparagus, grapefruit, pears, peaches, etc.
The list of good, nourishing, whole, living food is endless. Try adding in rather than taking away.
